I have worked as a freelance photographer covering conferences, publicity events, film premiers, charity lobby events in Parliament, project launches, arts events and sporting fixtures. Here are some examples of my work in the last ten years.
I currently work as a sports photographer for DE Photography capturing action shots at rugby, football, international athletics, cross country and even dog agility events!
It was a great pleasure to cover the WhitLit Festival in Whitstable in 2016 and 2017 snapping such a wide range of interesting, inspiring and iconic writers. Featured writers in 2016 included Joanne Harris and veteran broadcaster, Martin Bell .
WhitLit 2017 was eclectic and exciting. Highlights for me were John Gordon Sinclair, VGLee and Gary Bell, who really is an animal – his lovely wife actually begged me to stay with him so he didn’t eat all the cake in the green room. Catherine Mayer was the most inspiring and photogenic woman I’ve ever met. The Sunday was so packed with famouses, it’s hard to pick, but because I’m an old punk and a history geek I’d say my faves were David Roberts and Victoria Glendinning.
Can’t wait for WhitLit 2018!

I was asked to photograph Yoko Ono for the Folkestone Triennial in 2014 and one of my images was published in the Daily Mail. She was a delightful subject and it was a real privilege to spend a couple of hours with her as she visited her work and an exhibition at the local library.
